The Discipline of Land Surveying in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education’s New Generation of Academics’ Programme, has an exciting opportunity for eligible candidates to pursue a career as an academic and researcher. The successful candidate will be expected to register for a doctoral degree at UKZN and will be closely mentored to become an academic through a programme designed to assist with early career development.
The incumbent will report to the Academic Leader Discipline: Agricultural & Civil Engineering and Land Surveying
Minimum requirements
A BSc Degree in Land Surveying/Geomatics (NQF level 8)
A Masters degree in Land Surveying/Geomatics with a pass mark of at least 70%
South African Citizen
The successful applicant will be expected to complete a PhD within 5 years from the date of assumption of duty.
