FACULTY OF NATURAL SCIENCES
DEPARTMENT OF NATURE CONSERVATION
LECTURER (P8) x2 – Ref: NN13 & NN05

Key Performance Areas:
- Teaching and learning
- Curriculum development and accreditation
- Conduct research
- Quality assurance
- Community engagement
- Academic administration…
Minimum Requirements:
- MSc in Biological Science/ Environmental Science/Conservation Science and registration towards a PhD.
- Three years lecturing experience at a recognized tertiary institution.
- Evidence of collaborations with other institutions.
- DHET accredited publications.
Recommendations:
- Supervision of postgraduate student
- Evidence of community engagement
- Involvement in Work Integrated Learning
- Experience in Zoology/Marine Biology/Animal Studies
Competencies:
- Driver’s license
- Organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Excellent presentation skills
