    FACULTY OF NATURAL SCIENCES 
    DEPARTMENT OF NATURE CONSERVATION 
    LECTURER (P8) x2 – Ref: NN13 & NN05 

    Key Performance Areas: 

    • Teaching and learning 
    • Curriculum development and accreditation 
    • Conduct research 
    • Quality assurance 
    • Community engagement 
    • Academic administration… 

    Minimum Requirements: 

    • MSc in Biological Science/ Environmental Science/Conservation Science and registration towards a PhD. 
    • Three years lecturing experience at a recognized tertiary institution. 
    • Evidence of collaborations with other institutions. 
    • DHET accredited publications. 

    Recommendations:

    • Supervision of postgraduate student 
    • Evidence of community engagement 
    • Involvement in Work Integrated Learning 
    • Experience in Zoology/Marine Biology/Animal Studies 

    Competencies:

    • Driver’s license 
    • Organizational skills 
    • Excellent written and verbal skills 
    • Excellent presentation skills
