Lecturer/Programme Coordinator – Camera Work and Lighting (JB4005) at Educor Holdings

Requirements:

• BA Honours or equivalent (NQF 8)
• Completed or currently pursuing NQF Level 9
• Minimum one year of industry experience
• At least one year of lecturing experience
• Proficiency in working with and mastering various camera, lighting, and grip equipment

Duties and Responsibilities:

Content Development:

• Develop subject guides, lesson plans, and assessment briefs.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure the quality of subject content meets the institution's standards.

Teaching and Learning:

• Plan and prepare engaging lectures, workshops, and consultations.
• Supervise student projects and placements as needed.

Mentorship and Networking:

• Provide mentorship to students.
• Foster professional networks within the industry.

Assessment Moderation and Marketing:

• Plan, set, and moderate both summative and formative assessments.
• Contribute to the marketing of the program.

Research and Industry Engagement:

• Engage in research activities and industry productions.
• Bring practical industry experience into the academic environment.

Programme Coordination:

• Oversee the coordination of the Diploma of BA Programme.
• Handle administrative duties related to the program.

Representation:

• Represent the department at institutional events and committees.
