Lecturer: School of Humanities and Social Sciences (Independent Contractor) vacancy exists at the IIE's Varsity College Durban North Campus for the second semester, on the following module:

• Communication Sciences

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Ideal:

• An Bachelor of Arts or Honours Degree in Communication Science. 

Alternatively:

• An Honours, Postgraduate Diploma or above in one of the Applied Humanities fields with Communication Science in undergraduate up to third year degree level.

 Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• Lecturing experience in Communication Studies including all the subfields such as interpersonal, Organisational, Intercultural, Persuasive, Global and Mass Communication.

• Work experience is not as critical for the Communication Science modules as they are relatively theory based, but lecturers must be able to apply the theory to a relevant work environment; Communication Practitioner in a governmental or non-governmental organisation or consultancy.
