Requirements

• A Master’s degree in English Language Teaching, English Language Studies, or Applied Language Studies (English).
• At least three (3) years of teaching experience at a tertiary institution, or five (5) years of relevant professional experience.
• Publications in peer-reviewed or non-peer-reviewed journals will be considered an added advantage.

Duties:

• Deliver high‑quality teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Supervise Honours and Master’s students, providing academic mentorship and research guidance.
• Contribute to curriculum development, review, and continuous improvement to ensure programme relevance and academic excellence.
• Produce and publish scholarly work in accredited peer‑reviewed journals and contribute to the department’s research outputs.
• Participate in community engagement initiatives aligned with the university’s strategic goals.
• Integrate e‑learning tools and digital platforms to enhance teaching, learning, and student engagement.
