In this role, you will help ensure legal content remains current, accurate, and ready for publication across print and online products. You will monitor legal developments, update and add legislation, and support the delivery of high-quality publishing outputs while working closely with internal teams and responding to customer queries. This is a detail-focused opportunity for someone who enjoys legal research, editorial work, and delivering to deadlines in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Monitor legal developments and update existing legislation to ensure content remains current.
Add new legislation across publications and prepare supporting annotations as required.
Prepare prelims and approve final proofs for service issues, bound volumes, and annuals, while supporting the print production team.
Meet production standards by setting priorities and working to critical deadlines and production schedules across print and online formats.
Respond to queries from external and internal customers in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct and participate in quality reviews and audits to support publishing accuracy.
Identify and implement operational efficiencies that support best practices and publishing milestones.
Participate in professional development and training, and support other reasonable duties as required.
Requirements
Demonstrate strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills, with the ability to write clearly within house style guidelines.
Have an excellent command of the English language.
Bring a general understanding of XML or HTML.
Show initiative, self-motivation, and strong problem-solving skills.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers through strong written and verbal interpersonal skills.
Work collaboratively across teams, including geographically diverse and onshore/offshore teams.
Stay organised and adapt effectively to changing business demands.
