SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Providing strategic advice to the entity pertaining to legal matters, identifying strategic risks and plans to mitigate such.
Developing and reviewing legal services policies and procedures in alignment to business objectives and legislation.
Ensuring sustainability of processes and mitigation of business continuity risks by having internal controls supporting HCT strategic objectives.
Provide advice on any disputes, litigation or arbitration related matters.
Represent HCT in litigation and dispute resolution processes and procedures as appropriate.
Drafting of all legal agreements including leases and contracts.
Review all contracts signed by the HCT are aligned to the entity mandate.
Provide input and advice on appropriateness of contracts and recommended or required amendments.
Identify legal risks in all contractual obligations by the HCT and develop effective mitigating strategies with the business.
Drafting legal opinions or service level agreements on multidisciplinary areas of the law.
