    Local SEO (Data Management) – Intern

    We are looking for an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organisation. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of how our business functions and carry out day-to-day tasks. The focus will be on providing exceptional value and demonstrating initiative to support the team.


    Duties and responsibilities 

    •         Accurate and thorough data sorting/management
    •         Understand how to use the Location Bank™ software and correctly implement changes as requested by clients  
    •         Daily checks to ensure that the data is up to date and accurate in the software and live on all the end points/publishers
    •         Take screenshots (desktop and mobile) of any data changes or optimisation elements so that the proofs can be sent to clients
    •         Ad hoc client liaison regarding any technical functions or updates to their account
    •         Google My Business optimisation to meet predetermined targets for growth in impressions and clicks on all listings
    •         Assist with keyword strategies and implement local SEO techniques
    •         Upload posts and assist with campaign management
    •         Assist with reputational management by responding to reviews and questions using a response guideline
    •         Provide support to the account and direct managers
    •         Adhere to deadlines as outlined by the account and direct managers
    •         Ensure monthly reports are delivered to clients and verify the data
    •         Archive all corporate documents and follow the correct format
    •         Carry out tasks as specified by account managers and report back daily on all given tasks

     

    Requirements

    •         Diploma/degree in the marketing sphere is a requirement
    •         Proficient on the entire Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    •         Understanding of Google Sheets
    •         Own transportation and laptop required

    •         Passionate about new media and the marketing sphere as a whole
    •         Be a self-starter i.e., able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
