Job Description

• A leading retail and agricultural supply company is looking for an experienced Logistics Controller with strong experience in warehouse operations, distribution center management, and inventory control to join their team in Villiersdorp. The role involves overseeing staff, inventory, and operational systems within the distribution center, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise distribution center operations, including staff, inventory, and administrative systems.
• Forecast and plan resource requirements (people, equipment, warehouse space, and service providers).
• Optimize warehousing operations and materials handling.
• Continuously evaluate distribution processes and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and maintain service level agreements.
• Leverage system technologies to enhance DC efficiency.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and implement control measures to reduce losses.

Requirements:

• NQF 5 qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years relevant logistics/warehouse experience.
• Intermediate MS Office skills.
• Experience with WMS and Blue Yonder systems.
• Valid Code 08 Driver’s Licence.
