A leading logistics organisation seeks an International Logistics Business Leader to provide executive leadership across global operations. Accountable for strategy, operational excellence, regulatory governance, and sustainable financial performance across multiple regions. Requires a commercially driven leader with proven experience in large-scale logistics, transformation, stakeholder management
Responsibilities
Define and execute the long‑term strategy for international logistics operations
Provide executive leadership across multi‑regional logistics, customs, forwarding, and operational teams
Drive profitable growth, market expansion, and customer retention
Ensure regulatory compliance, customs governance, and enterprise risk management
Oversee financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimisation
Champion operational excellence, productivity improvement, and service quality
Lead digitalisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Strengthen customer value propositions and manage strategic client relationships
Establish robust governance, performance management, and reporting frameworks
Promote ESG, sustainability, safety, and ethical operating standards
Build, mentor, and develop a high‑performing senior leadership team
Manage key external relationships including regulators, partners, and service providers
Requirements
Minimum 8 years’ senior leadership experience within international logistics, supply chain, or freight operations
Proven experience managing large, multi‑functional and multi‑regional teams
Strong track record in operational and financial performance delivery
Demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance, customs governance, and risk management
Experience leading business transformation, automation, or optimisation initiatives
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L ownership
Excellent stakeholder management and customer relationship skills
Bachelor’s degree (Essential)
Postgraduate qualification in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain (Advantageous)
Executive‑level leadership presence with strong strategic and decision‑making capability
