    Logistics Officer

    FS Systems has been on a 50-year journey to protect lives and assets through cutting-edge fire and enterprise security technology, and we’ll be doing this for the next 50 years.
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    •  Assist with raising stock purchase orders on suppliers and follow up with ETA’s
    •  Advising the Administrators of ETA’s received from suppliers.
    •  Daily running of outstanding purchase order report and interact with suppliers as to updates and progress of purchase orders.
    •  Matching of suppliers invoices to purchase orders, daily recording of supplier invoices and sending documents to creditors department.
    •  Verifying stock quantities received back from Technicians and Sub-Contractors and advising Administrators with item codes and quantities.
    •  System to be updated once goods return note received from Administrators and stock to be packed and allocated to the correct locations.
    •  Processing of stock received from suppliers.
    •  Check that quantities and products received correspond with supplier invoices or delivery notes.
    •  Once stock verified a GRN must be raised to book into stock and all stock to be stored in the proper storage locations.
    •  Raising goods return notes and returning stock to suppliers for credit.
    •  Follow up with supplier on credit notes and forward to the creditors department.
    •  Liaise with freight forwarders for collections and deliveries and complete shipping airway bill for local and international shipments.
    •  Tools and vehicle stock management.
    •  Assist with quarterly auditing of tools and weekly auditing of vehicle stock.
    •  Daily/Weekly/Quarterly stock taking.
    •  Picking and Packing of picking slips received daily from Administrators
    •  Run delivery notes once picking slip is picked and ensure stock is checked before signing receipt thereof. Signed delivery notes to be uploaded into system.
    •  Updating of item master file with item codes and pricing.

    QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

    •  Must have previous stores and warehouse experience
    •  Be able to work unsupervised in a busy environment and assist with meeting deadlines
    •  Good verbal and written communication skills
    •  Must be computer literate
    •  Team Player
    •  Valid Driver’s License would be an advantage
