Logistics Planner (BWT – SOS Lab) Global Grade 09 at Barloworld Equipment

Key Outputs

• Perform Parts logistics planning in the sourcing and supply of BWT products (S.O.S Bottles)
• Maintain relationships with logistics stakeholders in the execution of planned transportation
• Facilitate requirements for delivery to Internal / External customers
• Run quotations or obtain price for transportation for internal stakeholders
• Prepare customs and excise shipping instructions
• Perform data analysis and Reporting to management
• Manage 3rd party suppliers on contractual SLA’s for transportation
• Facilitate transportation logistics requirements for all BWE regions, 3rd party suppliers and customers
• Facilitate the transportation and logistics needs of the SOS Lab in relation to TAT
• Engage with the Procurement team to review transportation costs and pricing in line with contracts .
• Ensure Barloworld Transport Fluid analysis strategy

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

• Grade12 with more than 5 to 7 years’ experience in Logistics or
• Relevant Diploma in Logistics or Supply chain will be an added advantage
• 5 - 7 years in Logistics or supply chain environment
• > 3 years’ experience in the transportation industry related to planning and logistics
• Working experience with Standard Operating Procedures and Procurement processes in transportation
• Working experience within the Southern African Region (Geography)
• Exposure to Customs and clearing legislation, procedures and processes , including the National Road Traffic Act
• Working experience with MS Office
