Lumion Technician at ARRCC Design

• The Lumion Technician is a experienced interior designer responsible for managing multiple projects’ production of drawings ranging from small to large-sized projects of basic to complex scope with minimal supervision including full architectural solutions in coordination with an architect. The primary function of this role is to provide high-level drawings for projects.
• We are looking for someone who is highly detailed-oriented, thorough, and self-motivated. As a Lumion Technician you will use Lumion to produce technical drawings for a variety of projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Able to work within a structured document management system and be accountable for upholding that system.
• Application of furniture, lighting, adding appropriate textures to scatters, sofas, rugs, etc. in Lumion.
• Excellent time management and communication skills to ensure all deadlines are continuously met with Project Managers and Suppliers.
• Ability to be flexible and forthcoming with supporting and assisting team leaders and designers with achieving deadlines.
• Ability to produce and navigate complex models in Lumion.
• Good eye for producing architectural 3D views for Client presentations and internal meeting purposes, including appropriate angles, view ratios, texture and furniture model visuals.
• Produce 3D Views to convey interior design information based on Design Presentations.
• Work under the direction of the Interior Designers and internal architects.
• Perform other Lumion-related duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
• Mentoring and training other staff. Identifying when training refreshers are required and problem-solving to achieve best Lumion practice across departments.
• Contribution and organization of the Lumion Library including supervising and auditing all new models monthly.
• Seamless texture library to be developed to meet detailed expectations.
• Post-production of Lumion views in programs such as Gimp or Photoshop. This would entail adding additional styling, light sources, or effects.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND CRITERIA

• BTech in Architectural Technology or National Diploma in Interior Design.
• Proficiency in Revit, Lumion and AutoCAD.
• Minimum 1+ year working experience.
• Ability to work in a complex multi-cultural environment.
• Identifies and shares innovative ways of improving current systems and processes.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to understand and formulate design documentation.
• Ability to use a variety of media and software in the development and documentation of a design project.
• Ability to accurately understand and interpret instructions.

• Methodical, accurate and consistent attention to detail.
