Machine Operator at RPO Recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain slitting and laminating machines to ensure efficient production.
• Set up machines according to job specifications, including adjusting blade settings, tension, and alignment.
• Monitor production runs to ensure quality output, making adjustments as necessary.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure adherence to specifications and client requirements.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to workplace health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate production records, reporting any issues or inefficiencies.
• Work closely with other departments to optimize workflow and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Machine Slitter, Laminator, or similar machine operator role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications.
• Familiarity with different types of materials used in slitting and laminating processes.
• Understanding of quality control measures and production efficiency.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.
