What You Will Enjoy Doing

• Perform mould changes, replace heads and mould equipment, ensure mould changes are complete in defined timeframes
• Perform machine running adjustments when necessitated by the manufacturing process according to quality specifications
• Maintain good and continuous communication with Production Manager, Maintenance and Shift Supervisor
• Perform colour changes as and when needed
• Maintain good housekeeping within department
• Responsible to report any risks identified for Quality and Food Safety Management where food contact product is produced in the plant.
• Ensure on-going awareness of Quality, Food Safety, Environmental and Health and Safety Management

What makes you great

• Technical qualification and good experience in plastic processing
• Matric/ grade 12
• Basic Toolmaking, Extrusion Blow Moulding, Mechanical or Electric/Electronic knowledge
• Ability to operate forklifts and crane
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Must be able to lift 30 kg
• Basic computer skills
• High cleanliness standards for the machines and work area
