Machine Setter (SBM) at ALPLA Group

WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING

• Perform mould changes, replace heads and mould equipment, ensure mould changes are complete in defined timeframes
• Perform start-up and process in moulds that were used for established products to meet QA approval
• Maintain good and continuous communication with Mould Change Over Manager, Maintenance and Shift Supervisor
• Plan and carry out first and second line servicing on a scheduled basis on machines
• Diagnosing and problem solving on machines
• Support in colour changes as needed
• Maintain good housekeeping within department
• Provide ongoing support to production activities
• Responsible to report any risks identified for Quality and Food Safety Management where food contact product is produced in the plant.
• Ensure on-going awareness of Quality, Food Safety, Environmental and Health and Safety Management
• Ensure housekeeping and general areas facilitates a tidy, neat Environment

WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT

• Technical qualification and good experience in plastic processing
• Basic Toolmaking, Mechanical or Electric/Electronic knowledge
• Ability to operate forklifts and crane
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Must be able to lift ±30 kg
• Basic computer skills
• High cleanliness standards for the machines and work area
