• Our client, a leader in the automotive manufacturing sector, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Foreman to oversee all plant maintenance operations. The role involves managing a multidisciplinary team, ensuring equipment reliability, controlling maintenance budgets, and driving continuous improvement in line with safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related qualification
• 10 years' experience in a similar maintenance leadership role
• Experience with metal pressing machines and automotive manufacturing
• Strong understanding of safety and legal compliance
• Proven ability to manage budgets, maintenance schedules, and reporting

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise maintenance teams (fitters, electricians, welders, etc.)
• Plan, delegate, and monitor daily maintenance activities
• Ensure equipment uptime and plant reliability
• Implement and enforce safety and quality standards
• Manage maintenance budgets, orders, and contractor relationships
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance plans
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
