Maintenance Scheduler - Aggeneys at RPO Recruitment

PO Recruitment's client is seeking a highly skilled and organized Maintenance Scheduler to join their team in the Northern Cape within the mining industry. The Maintenance Scheduler will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure the efficient and safe operation of all equipment and machinery within the mining operation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all equipment and machinery within the mining operation.
• Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities.
• Manage the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure maintenance tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor and track maintenance work progress and update schedules as necessary.
• Identify and implement improvements to the maintenance scheduling process to increase efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other departments to plan and coordinate maintenance activities during scheduled shutdowns or planned outages.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.
• Prepare reports on maintenance work progress, delays, and resource utilization.

Essential Requirements:

• Diploma in related field.
• 5 Years’ experience on planned maintenance systems within the mining industry.
• High level of computer literacy. 
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and scheduling tools.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in the mining industry.
