Maintenance Systems Lead (Tygervalley) at Afrimat

Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Attributes:

• BEng/BSc/BTech Engineering Degree (Required)
• 5 years’ asset care experience
• Proficient with On Key CMMS
• Willing to travel to various Afrimat sites.
• Have own vehicle and driver’s license
• Experience in system architechture and integration.
• Analysing and interpretation of information
• Decision making ability in a fast-changing environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Self-disciplined and motivated
• Honesty

Duties and Responsibilities:

The purpose of this position is to help achieve Afrimat’s vision and objectives by leading the implementation of maintenance management processes supported by On Key across the organization to enhance operational efficiency and to oversee the configuration and setup of software to align with business processes effectively.

• Responsible for the implementation of maintenance management processes supported by On Key across the organisation
• Responsible for configuration and set up of software to support business processes
• Responsible for on-site training and support as part of roll-out to new BU’s
• Good understanding of preventative maintenance practices
• Ensure maintenance process implemented adds operational benefit by improving equipment availability and reducing maintenance costs
• Effectively perform change management to ensure new practices are adopted
