Key Performance Areas:

• Supervise team members.
• Effective shop floor planning.
• Spare parts control.
• Continuous development of artisans and assistant on all plant equipment.

Knowledge required:

• Full ability to understand all hydraulic/pneumatic & mechanical drawings pertaining specifically to plant machinery.
• Control/pressure relief/safety hydraulic valve experience.
• Quality specifications and systems.
• Rigging.
• Basic engineering repair knowledge.
• Computer literate.
• Hydraulic/ mechanical seal knowledge or application.
• Torquing of bolts and nut.
• Presenting and writing reports.
• Discipline and grievance procedures.

Skills Required:

• Control.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 and NQF Level 6 qualification Mechanical Engineering.
• Qualified Millwright/ Fitter.
• Minimum 3-5 years mechanical press and assembly plant
• Extensive knowledge on Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
