Maintenance Technician at Attacq Limited

Role Purpose:

• The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing multiple repair and maintenance tasks throughout the day, as allocated through the Helpdesk or Operations Manager. The role incumbent ensures a safe working environment while carrying out the required duties and ensure that instructions specified by the Building Supervisor, Operations Manager or Help desk Administrator are adhered to according to set policies and standards.

General Maintenance

• Performs all repairs and maintenance (painting, cleaning, waterproofing, irrigation, replacement of globes & tubes, small plumbing work, door & lock repairs, cleaning of gutters and full bores, etc.) as requested by the Operations Manager
• Identify maintenance requirement whilst doing inspections on site.
• Observes entire property daily and reports leaks, breakages and non-functioning parts to the Operations Manager
• Responds to complaints received from any tenant and advise the Operations Manager.

Customer Service

• Ensures availability to Property Management team as well as existing and new tenants.
• Maintain good relationships with all stakeholders both internal (property management) and external (tenants, service providers)
• Communicates all defects timeously to Operations Manager

Risk Management

• Ensures compliance with relevant Acts.
• Controls, manages and governs the processes and systems within area of accountability to ensure compliance and minimise the business risk.
•  Implements all audit recommendations in area of accountability and resolve audit findings timeously
• Design, approval, implement and maintenance of policies within area of responsibility.
