Management Accountant (Falcon & Staalmeester) at Senwes

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely financial and management reporting.
• Analyse and interpret financial data to support business decision-making.
• Monitor and report on sales, targets, productivity, and profitability.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee fixed assets, inventory levels, and obsolete stock management.
• Manage and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Control and approve expenditure and capital budgets.
• Ensure effective stock-taking procedures and compliance.
• Monitor debtors and liaise with legal advisors for collections.
• Improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
• Implement internal and external audit recommendations.
• Manage sales pricing, imports, and stock planning at plant level.
• Support marketers with quotations and customer queries.
• Perform costing calculations of overheads and labour rates for use in BOMs.
• Monitor price variances on a monthly basis.
• Use SAP and MS Office for reporting and operational tasks.
• Identify training needs and improve process efficiency.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis.
• BCom in Accounting
• Completion of SAIPA or SAICA articles
• Beneficial: CIMA qualification (Management Accountant)
• Agricultural industry exposure (advantageous).
• SAP and system integration knowledge.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Analytical and critical thinking.
