Manager, Data Analytics at Standard Bank Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

To provide statistical and financial insights into the establishment and the attainment of the financial objectives of the Business Unit, predictive financial modelling and insights, as well as analytics for Consumer & High Net Worth, ("HNW") SA. The incumbent will identify business requirements for analytics and assist in visualisation and dashboard creation in a sustainable way. They will also assist in automation and scheduling of reports where appropriate. Present to relevant HNW stakeholders on BI insights and reporting views. Raise risks around data and comply with data governance and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum qualifications

• Bcom IT/Mathematics/Statistics/Actuarial/Engineering or related degree

Experience

• 5 years working in a SQL environment
• 5 years manipulating and processing large datasets
• 3 years building statistical models
• Presenting information to a large and senior audience 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Technical competencies

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Strong statistical modelling skills
• Strong data manipulation skills
• Strong knowledge SQL and various SQL RDMS (Teradata, Microsoft, etc)
• Understanding of reporting systems (QlikView, Power BI, etc)
• Strong knowledge of Python/R/SAS
