    Manager Education Training Quality Assurer: ETQA

    This position’s principle accountability is to ensure that training and education programmes are developed and implemented effectively, whilst ensuring that the programme meets the necessary quality standards.

    • Oversee the process of quality assessments, verifications and accreditation according to the Act. Responsible for the design, implementation and maintaining quality assurance processes. overseeing assessments and managing the development and delivery of training program.

    Job requirements Minimum:

    • B-Degree in Education Training and Development or related field (NQF Level 7) Ideal: B-Degree in Education Training and Development or related field (NQF Level 7) Plus, a Higher Certificate in Designing Learning Programmed and Related Learning Materials (NQF Level 6).
    • Experience: A minimum of 9-10 years’ in programme development and education initiatives, of which 5-6 years should be at a managerial level in • The development of qualifications for HET’s and FET’s • Management of a department with multiple reporting structures • Working within the South African Qualifications Authority legal framework/ education or training and development.

    The successful applicant’s remuneration is negotiable, based on a Total-Cost-to-Company package that is inclusive of retirement fund and medical aid employer contribution.

    • The LGSETA subscribes to the principles of Employment Equity and reserves the right not to make an appointment.
    • The appointee will be required to enter into a performance agreement with the employer.
