Manager: Finance at PRASA

DEPARTMENTAL MISSION

• To lead and coordinate regional credit control and expense management functions to ensure timely revenue recovery, budget compliance, and audit-ready financial operations in line with public-sector regulations and Intersite’s strategic asset management objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Financial Management or a relevant professional qualification.
• Valid code 8 driver’s license.

EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of 8 years' experience in Financial Management, of which 3 years must be at supervisory level (credit, revenue or expense control).

ADDED ADVANTAGE

• Honours or Postgraduate Diploma (NQF8) in Finance / Development Finance or Public Financial Management.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs)

• Credit Control Strategy & Implementation, Debtors Monitoring & Recovery, Expense Control & Cost Efficiency.
• FI Invoicing & Revenue Integrity, Financial Reporting & Performance Analysis, Stakeholder Engagement & Management.
• People Management, Risk, Governance and Compliance.
