Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the organization's long-term goals and objectives.
Recruitment and Staffing: Lead recruitment efforts, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding to attract and retain high-quality talent.
Employee Relations: Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions while promoting a positive workplace culture.
Training and Development: Oversee training and development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and career growth.
Performance Management: Develop and manage performance appraisal systems, feedback mechanisms, and goal-setting processes.
Compensation and Benefits: Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with labour laws.
Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, including Occupational Health, Safety and Risk, equal opportunity, and anti-discrimination laws.
HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to maintain a fair and consistent work environment.
Employee Engagement: Foster employee engagement and satisfaction through surveys, feedback mechanisms, and initiatives. Model and promote the organization’s business Ethics and Values
HR Metrics and Reporting: Maintain HR data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives and provide regular reports to management.
Budget Management: Manage the HR department budget effectively.
Conflict Resolution: Handle employee disputes, grievances, and investigations with discretion and fairness.
Key Stakeholder Relationship Management: g. Canteen Providers, Unions etc.
Change Management: Assist in managing organizational change, transformation initiatives and benchmarking.
Legislation & Projects: Support and maintain legislated interventions for e.g. WSP/ATR, EE, BSCI etc. and support ad hoc projects.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field. A Master's degree will be an advantage.
Proven experience in HR management (typically 5-10 years) preferably in the Manufacturing environment.
Proven knowledge of and application of all employment laws, regulations, and best practices
