  • The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness is a department of the Government of the Western Cape, responsible for providing public healthcare to the population of the Western Cape province of South Africa.

     

    Manager Nursing: Education and Training (Head Office)

    Location: Directorate: People Development

    Qualifications

    • Basic R425 qualification (i.e. diploma/ degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
    • Post basic qualification in Nursing Education registered with the SANC. A management qualification.
    • A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing. At least 5 years of the period referred to above be appropriate/recognisable experience at management level.
