Senior Certificate / Grade 12 plus Basic qualification accredited with SANC in terms of Government Notice R425 (i.e. Diploma / Degree in Nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse (2026).
A minimum of ten (10) years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council in General Nursing. At least 5 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate/recognizable experience at management level of Primary Health Care. Post basic qualifications in Primary Health Care, Diploma / Degree in Nursing Education and Administration will be an added advantage.
Demonstrate basic computer literacy as a support tool to enhance service delivery.
Knowledge of MCWH, CARMMA, PMTCT and ESMOE programmes Ability to plan and organise own work. Be able to work under pressure.
