Manager Production II - Britos at PepsiCo

Responsibilities

• Manage the production process as well as the staff compliment, in processing or packaging, to ensure that the daily as well as weekly plan is on target.
• Ensure that the achievement of the four KPIs of cost, service, quality and people are maintained as per his/her PDR.
• Facilitate a smooth shift, as well as an efficient shift handover.
• Ensure that a comprehensive shift report is completed in line with the demands of Access.
• Ensure compliance to quality as well as maintain AIB standards, with the support of the lab technician.

KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES

• Compliance to KPIs as per his/her PDR.
• Maintaining waste figures as per his/her commitment on his/her PDR.
• The jobholder must make sure that he/she plans his/her manning with the demands of his/her weekly production plan.
• The jobholder must also follow through the commitment that he/she had committed to in terms of developing his/her people.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and Tertiary qualification in Production, Operations Manager or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2 years Previous Managerial/Supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Since this is a junior managerial role the incumbent must have displayed that he/she has assumed a leadership role in the past.
• The incumbent must know Access as well MS Office.
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Good report writing skills
