Job Purpose

The new role as the Manager of the Project Management Office requires an experienced project manager or program director that has experience working in the following domains:

• 4G and 5G Radio Access Network
• DWDM and Fibre Networks
• Core Networks
• IP core Networks
• Cloud infrastructure
• Systems

Much of our project management process is subcontracted to external vendors and integrated by internal engineers. As such, a strong background in working with Huawei/ Nokia or similar organizations is essential. This role further requires experience in project financial controls and a good understanding of the budgeting process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• To manage and assign respective project managers to teams who will be working on building solutions.
• To develop and review the project plans, project scope and adjust required changes in it when needed.
• Accountable for the creation, execution, and improvement of any upcoming and ongoing build project.
• Deliver on time and on budget.
• Manage risk and budget and report on this daily and weekly.
• Engage with engineering teams to understand implementation requires, design and critical success factors.
• Prepare and manage handover documentation to operational teams.

• Must be able to work cross functionally with other departments as well as external customers.
• Proven experience in programme management and project management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level of personal integrity.
• Innovative thinking and leadership with an ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams.

• Prince 2 Certification
• PMP (gold standard)
• Certified Project Manager
• Certified Project Management Practitioner
• CompTIA Project+ certification
• Certified Associate in Project Management
• Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (CTNS)
• Certified Telecommunications Project Management (CTPM)
• Registered Telecommunications Project Manager (RTPM)
