    Manager Sales Training Planning

    JOB DETAILS

    • A vacancy exists at TALA for a Learner Development Manager (LDM). The incumbent will lead the Learner Support Centre (LSC) and will play a key role in the support functions for the Academy. TALA now offers credit-bearing training to the dealer network that requires an efficient and professional LSC to ensure adherence and compliance to a broad range of legislative requirements.  The LDM will ensure all processes are in place and further support with a variety of projects to ensure the ultimate success of the Academy. 

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    Management of LSC:

    • Ensure compliance to the Quality Management System (QMS) and implement required changes.
    • Management of Learner Management System (LMS) processes as per LSC SOP’s
    • Manage LSC in accordance to the Dealer Service Level Agreement.
    • Data management, record keeping and reporting.
    • Ensure accuracy of data on LMS.
    • Manage the LSC team members.
    • Manage process to create and publish annual calendar and prospectus.
    • Provide TALA departments with agreed upon administrative support.
    • Facilitates TALA’s accreditation status.

    Commercial activities:   

    • Manage SLA’s with all suppliers (Create, update, comply)
    • Ensure commercial compliance to PUD and Finance processes.
    • Update training pricelist and ensure accurate dealer recoveries 

    Facilities:           

    • Ensure training facilities are maintained at a high standard to project a professional image. .
    • Create and maintain SOP’s and manage deviations.
    • Manage budget related to facilities.

    Customer care:

    • Manage queries received from the dealers mainly through the Learner Management system.
    • Manage relationships and communication with DLDC’s.  

    Projects:            

    • Provide support to various TALA projects as required.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • NQF 6 (Minimum 360 credits on level 8 framework) qualification in Business Administration or related
    • Experience in Project management
    • 3 Years Experience in administration.
    • Experience in managing a team.
    • An SDF qualification and experience will be an advantage
    • PC literacy (Advanced Excel, MS Projects and SAP skills
