KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Ensure strategic decision - making by the municipality acknowledging trends to improve its service delivery capacities.
Ensure that skills development is fully integrated into the municipality’s HR strategy and Integrated
Development Plan (IDP), reducing critical skills gaps and improving service continuity.
Ensure critical skills and learning interventions are identified enabling the organisation to plan, prioritise and implement programmes that contribute to efficiency and quality of service delivery.
Ensure an adequate service to all employees regarding career planning and development.
Ensure staff members are capacitated through targeted training, resulting in improved compliance, service delivery standards, and employee morale.
Ensure effective participation in learning opportunities benefitting the local community and demonstrate social responsibility by the municipality.
Effectively report on post - training assessments informing future training planning and budgeting.
Ensure the municipality submits a WSP/ATR in accordance with applicable legislation and LGSETA protocols.
Ensure that accredited and effective relationships contribute to cost - effective training and development practices, enhancing municipality standing as an employer of choice.
