Manager, VAF Sales (Dealer) at Standard Bank Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

To drive the operational integration of sales directives for Vehicle and Asset Finance (VAF) in the Business unit with optimal achievement of business attraction, retention and expansion targets.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A financial or general management degree or diploma
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ previous managerial experience.
• 3-5 years experience in financial management which includes, budgeting, forecasting, cost control and sales management.
• Experience in dealing with business customers at all levels.
• Exposure to more complex structured finance deals is preferable to recognise potential business opportunities and to harness specialist input.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Understanding of competitor activity, drivers, products, strengths, vulnerabilities, market share, client base, etc within the VAF industry.
• Understanding of the Macro-economic environment (e.g. economic, social, political, technological).
• Thorough understanding of the value propositions for all customer segments.
• Knowledge and understanding of Insurance, Financial and Fleet products.
