    Managing Executive- PropTech Division

    Job Purpose:

    • Responsible for the overall direction and performance of the PropTech division. Maintains relationships with key clients, pitches e4 solutions, submits and negotiates proposals, negotiates prices, undertakes national promotions and implementations of e4 solutions and/or services, appoints and leads the management team of the division to deliver upon all planned and budgeted project and sales deliverables, oversees the operational and support teams of the division. Helps to structure, design & implement the PropTech strategy and fully accountable for preparing and delivering upon the annual business plan and budget for the PropTech division (with any other relevant heads), as part of the company’s overall Strategic Execution Plan.

    Minimum requirements:

    • Related Degree
    • Postgraduate business qualification is an added advantage especially an MBA or suitable Honors Degree
    • 10-12 years related experience
    • Proven leadership experience at Director/ Executive Senior Manager level (ideally in the Financial Services Industry)
    • Solid knowledge and experience in technology and the role it plays in business operations
    • Suitable experience in developing strategies and plans

    General Roles and Responsibilities

    • The duties to be carried out by the PropTech Managing Executive shall be those reasonably specified from time to time by the Board. Initially the duties to be performed by the PropTech Managing Executive shall be carried out with a view to achieving the objectives set out below. The duties defined below may be reviewed by the parties at any time to reflect any changes in the leadership functions based on any revised strategies or business plans that may be approved by the Company. Specified principle duties and responsibilities have been further defined in this document

    Leadership

    • Lead the overall direction & performance of the Division (comprising the former Financial Services & Legal Studio divisions). Primary focus on all corporate clients (financial services) and secondary on law firm clients. Lead the PropTech Division's ManCo team. Direct leadership of the Client Services / Ops teams in the Division. Liaise with Group Executives (upwards), other Executives, PropTech ManCo team and other all other ManCo/Group Services managers as required.

    Strategic

    • Input to the Company's annual Strategic Execution Plan ('SEP'). Responsible for producing the Division's strategy (under the SEP), business plan & budget, all on an annual basis.

    Clients

    • Manage all corporate client relationships, including regular key client visits & consulting - all as per Client Engagement Model ('CEM'). Do so with PropTech Bank BD Head plus Business Unit Mangers (per bank). Also oversee all Customer Support / Ops client service levels.

    Products

    • Indirectly oversee high level product strategy & product roadmaps (per product), via the IT Executive.

    Risk

    • Risk management for the overall division. Ongoing maintenance of risk controls plus the implementation of the risk action plan

    Projects/ Implementation

    • Indirectly oversee all projects & implementations (on a monthly basis).

    Business Development

    • General BD, sell & cross sell solutions, do pitches & proposals & quotes, oversee pricing, carry out promotions, do demo's etc - all as per the CEM. Primary focus on corporate clients. Do so with PropTech Bank BD Head plus Business Unit Mangers (per bank).

    Collaboration

    • Oversee 3 core areas of Business Development / Sales, Production and Client Services / Ops, to ensure they are working in collaboration. Also work closely with all other Executives and ManCo members (IT & Group Services).

    Legal- Contracts & SLAs

    • Monitor all existing contracts (with Group Legal) + Lead & negotiate all corporate client contracts & renewals.

    Competitors

    • Competitor intelligence (via Bank execs + all BUMs) as per the CEM.

    Reports

    • Divisional level dashboards & reporting (rolled up from the 3 areas).

    Other duties and responsibilities:

    1. Identify new opportunities in existing markets;
    2. Suggest product improvements for client products;
    3. Manage a portfolio of products and clients;
    4. Builds lasting client relationships at various levels of seniority at all e4’s clients;
    5. Visit existing and potential corporate clients to present and or demonstrate products / solutions;
    6. Relationship management of all corporate clients plus key attorney clients at an executive level;
    7. Gain a clear understanding of clients' businesses and requirements;
    8. Undertake competitor intelligence;
    9. Advanced consulting with key clients;
    10. Promote other e4 business solutions and services (i.e. cross-sell);
    11. Obtain and maintain detailed knowledge of all of e4’s relevant products on an ongoing basis;
    12. Formulate robust strategy and divisional business plans;
    13. Establish and support sound processes and systems to ensure seamless project rollouts;
    14. Manage deadlines as committed;
    15. Continuously communicate progress, and delays both internally as well as to clients;
    16. Manage customer service and drive customer satisfaction;
    17. Ensures that the division’s clients are served and supported according to the company’s practices and standards;
    18. Manage escalation of customer complaints;
    19. Ability to deal at all levels within the enterprise with strong emphasis at business executive level.
    20. Perform any other actions required to maintain and promote e4’s existing client relationships.
