    Marketing Automation and Sales Tool Specialist

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, build, and maintain complex automation programs, smart campaigns, and workflows within Marketo to nurture leads and improve customer engagement.
    • Administer and optimize the organization’s Marketo instance, including segmentation, scoring models, lifecycle management, and database governance.
    • Implement and optimize CRM integrations (e.g., Salesforce) to enhance sales and marketing alignment.
    • Design, execute, and analyze email marketing campaigns through Marketo, ensuring high deliverability, engagement, and compliance.
    • Utilize Marketo capabilities to score, segment, and personalize customer interactions.
    • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
    • Conduct A/B testing to improve conversion rates and campaign effectiveness.
    • Support troubleshooting, documentation, and governance of automation processes and tool usage.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance automation strategies.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

    Experience:

    • Minimum 3 years of hands-on, demonstrable experience working directly within Adobe Marketo Engage (required).
    • Proven ability to independently build and manage Marketo programs, smart campaigns, segmentation, scoring, and reporting.
    • Experience in marketing automation, digital marketing, or CRM management.
    • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, Comet, Stellar)
    • Strong understanding of email marketing, lead nurturing, and customer segmentation.
    • Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau).
    • Experience in A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
    • Familiarity with compliance regulations related to digital marketing (e.g., GDPR, POPIA).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work cross-functionally.
