Role Description
Purpose of the position
To create and maintain a strong online presence for KLM Empowered, to devise and implement creative ways to attract prospective customers and promote the KLM Empowered brand, and to provide administrative support to the Marketing and Business Development team.
Key Performance Areas
- Manage the online presence of KLM Empowered by:
-Providing input and advice regarding the structure and content of the website
-Implementing strategies to increase web traffic
-Identifying and executing opportunities for marketing and brand building on relevant online platforms and portals (in collaboration with a Digital Marketing Agency)
-Monitoring the KLM Empowered brand on relevant platforms and portals and reporting on reviews and feedback from customers and fans
- Create engaging text, image and video content for online marketing of the KLM Empowered brand and service offering
- Design posts to ignite curiosity and create buzz around the KLM Empowered brand and service offering
- Train staff members to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way
- Develop marketing collateral for all KLM Empowered products and services
- Arrange and manage marketing and brand building campaigns and events
- Administer responses to marketing campaigns and communicate relevant leads to the Business Development Consultants
- Follow-up and convert specific leads generated through social media and marketing campaigns
- Provide administrative support to the Marketing and Business Development team
- Prepare proposals and presentations for the Marketing and Business Development team
- Devise and implement creative ways to attract more customers and promote the KLM Empowered brand
- Prepared detailed marketing reports to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities
- Serve as a contact point for relevant vendors, including digital marketing agencies and event planning and coordination partners
- Manage and regularly update the CRM system and database
Role Requirements
Qualifications
A degree in Marketing, Business Administration or the equivalent
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar role
- Hands-on experience with Pastel accounting software
Competencies Required
- Expertise in multiple social media platforms
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword search and Google Analytics
- Able to craft creative content
- Familiarity with online marketing strategies and channels
- Able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Able to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment
