Description
We’re seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Copywriter who has the core skills required to support our busy crowdfunding support agency and is motivated to learn more on the job with a hands-on approach. You’ll produce clear and creative content on behalf of our clients. The campaigns often need written material for pitch documents, video scripts and social outreach to help us deliver innovative crowdfunding campaigns and gain investment for our clients on recognised global platforms such as Crowdcube & Seedrs. You will collaborate with other members of our team and work directly with our client understanding and incorporating core messaging and tone of voice and developing ideas and completing revisions.
You will be happy working both independently and as part of a team. The TribeFirst team and their partners work across GMT -2 to GMT +2 time zones, with many working from home offices. As such, the bulk of your communication with both the team and with clients will be through email, Zoom and telephone, rather than in person.
Responsibilities will include:
Attending kick-off calls to e-meet new clients and hear their product/proposition, identify core messaging and understand tone of voice
Write content for marketing materials
Submit content for approval by deadlines, making any necessary revisions
Ensure content is appropriate for the client’s brand and strategy
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop ideas
Planning - using project management tool Trello to plan and prioritise tasks for each campaign and to ensure they are being completed on time
Taking notes on calls and populating templates
Requirements
Essential skills
Experience writing marketing copy (2+ years preferred)
Zoom
Word, Excel, PP
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
Strong writing, grammatical, and proofreading skills
Deadline-oriented
Ability to collaborate and work as a team
