    Marketing Manager

    Job Purpose

    The marketing manager will work closely with the CEO and will be responsible to direct and execute all marketing activities and campaigns in line with the Foundations Strategic Objectives.

    Requirements

    • Minimum education (essential): BOOM in Marketing Management or Diploma
    • Minimum applicable experience (years): More than 5 years
    • Knowledge of digital marketing techniques and platforms. This includes Google Ads, mailers, social media, SEO an advantage
    • Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.

    Competencies

    • Must develop and implement a marketing strategy for the foundation
    • Ensure that all the marketing elements for the brand are up to date and create new marketing opportunities
    • Oversee the marketing mix from digital to traditional elements at the Foundation
    • Oversee the marketing events to grow the brand
    • Working closely with other team members and external resources to fulfil deliverables such as documents, leaflets, infographics, digital content, and advertising
    • Reviewing of any external designs, posters, and materials for errors before printing or publishing
    • Managing the workflow in the marketing department and prioritising the most important/urgent briefs
    • Creatively producing new ideas and concepts to keep the Organisations image fresh and appealing to both the existing members, as well as to a new, younger cohort graduating from the Universities
    • Managing the producing of content with the rest of the team for the website, social media, and other communication channels
    • Managing the promoting the organisation’s events and activities to target audiences using various channels including digital, online, and offline materials
    • Writing marketing deliverable briefs for agencies and in-house production teams and monitoring outputs
    • Work closely with other departments and partnering organisations to lead on marketing and communications initiatives, including PR
    • Manage project schedules to ensure that deadlines are met and provide weekly updates to senior managers
    • Coordinating the editing, production, and publication of magazines as well as the Annual Review
    • Managing external agencies and suppliers, and controlling quality, delivery, and service
    • Taking full responsibility for developing own knowledge of marketing and communications for the sector, along with keeping up to date on new developments
