POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide general assistance to the marketing team in their advertising and promotional efforts.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with daily administrative duties.
Help with the planning and hosting of marketing events.
Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content.
Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content.
Assist in the management of MQLs across the territory.
Prepare presentations.
Participate in formal and informal training opportunities.
Assist in planning and staffing of trade shows.
Handle email enquiries under the guidance of the marketing manager.
Organize marketing communication to the Sales team.
Other tasks may include assistance with departmental billing and processing invoices; assisting with miscellaneous projects as these come up.
Preparing documents and proposals to send to potential customers and arranging meetings.
Negotiating and liaising with third-party marketing agencies.
Overseeing the company’s attendance at events.
TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES: (REQUIRED)
Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education or Experience (in years):
Current enrolment in an undergraduate course for marketing, communications, business or similar field.
Familiarity with marketing computer software and social media platforms.
Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques.
Science background a plus.
Knowledge and skills:
English Speaker mandatory.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have a passion for marketing.
Outstanding multitasking and organisational abilities in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Previous experience with social media management tools an advantage.
Highly self-motivated with an ability to prioritize tasks and execute on deadlines.
Flexible, results-oriented, and able to work in fast-paced environment.
