Master Data/ EDI Clerk at Boxer Superstores

Job Purpose:

• Responsible for ensuring accurate and up-to-date master data and GLN information across systems by managing supplier interactions, validating data submissions, and coordinating updates through internal workflow to support efficient EDI operations and seamless system integration.
• The role supports both suppliers and buyers to ensure data integrity, timely issue resolution, and successful system updates.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Diploma/Certificate in Data, Administration, or Supply Chain (advantageous)
• 1–3 years’ experience in data capturing or master data (preferred)
• ERP system experience BoMM (advantageous)
• Excel advanced (advantageous)

Duties and Responsibilities    
Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate master data and GLN review meetings and guide suppliers on portal logging (Zoom/Teams)
• Review and validate master data and GLN tickets, including Excel submissions
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies in collaboration with suppliers and buyers
• Escalate validated change requests to Buyers, including ticket references
• Follow up with Buyers to ensure timely processing of updates
• Track and confirm changes within the BoMM system
• Update ticket statuses and notify suppliers for review and sign-off
• Maintain accurate master data tracking documentation
• Communicate progress and updates to relevant stakeholders
• Close tickets and confirm final sign-off with suppliers

Additional Key Responsibilities:

• Capture and maintain master data records on the system, including:
• New product listings and master data changes
• Validation of product listings
• Capture and maintenance of store ranging
• Other master data maintenance
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards
