To improve equipment efficiency to achieve planned production targets, training operations personnel, and proactively improving the reliability of equipment. This position will report into the Maintenance Foreman
Responsibilities:
Ensuring machine up time as per required standard.
Machine repairs to resolve root cause.
Production support when it comes to machine up time and availability.
Regular machine inspection and fault finding.
Determining of faults that may give rise to break downs.
Safe work practices.
Quality, ensuring good quality products is produced.
Personal Ownership for Production Efficiencies.
Machine services done with speed and to high standard of workmanship.
Experience you’ll bring:
Min. 5 years Fitter experience in an FMCG environment
Sound knowledge of date coding machines.
Lean manufacturing principles
Pneumatical fault finding.
Read and understand Mechanical and Pneumatical drawings and diagrams.
Sound knowledge of Diaphragm pumps.
Knowledge of Steam boilers and general plant repairs and Pipe fitting.
Workshop experience – Lathes and Machine tools.
Tig and Arch welding
Safe work procedures and rules
Behaviors you’ll need:
Qualified Millwright or Mechanical – government approval.
Aerosol and liquid filling machine expertise.
Proactive Problem Solving.
