Merchandise Planner at PEP

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• To manage the Cellular planning function through stock management and performance analysis, in order to optimize the balance between sales, service and stock levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the creation, roll-out and maintenance of new and existing physical products
• Stock performance management
• Forecasting and budgeting
• Stock allocation management
• Product management
• Planning processes and systems development and improvement
• Manage relationships
• Coaching and supervising
• Ad hoc projects

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 with Mathematics
• Business degree or diploma
• Minimum 3 years retail planning experience
• Knowledge of the telecommunication industry and financial services will be advantageous
• Above average computer literacy (enhanced Excel skills)
• Analytical, systematic, good communication skills, detail orientated, team player, can cope with stress and take initiative
