    Merchandise Planner

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • To manage the Cellular planning function through stock management and performance analysis, in order to optimize the balance between sales, service and stock levels.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage the creation, roll-out and maintenance of new and existing physical products
    • Stock performance management
    • Forecasting and budgeting
    • Stock allocation management

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12 with Mathematics
    • Business degree or diploma
    • Minimum 3 years retail planning experience
    • Knowledge of the telecommunication industry and financial services will be advantageous
    • Above average computer literacy (enhanced Excel skills)

    Product Developer (Western Cape)

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB 

    • To design the most wanted product for the PEP customer. To assist buyers with putting together aspirational ranges. Interpreting trends and relating the information for the Pep customers. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Interpreting trends and translating this for the PEP customer. 
    • Seasonal presentations to buying team and Buying Manager - Key Items, Head to toe looks, fabric and design detail focus, marketing messages etc 
    • Creating moodboards, theme and colour palettes for customer (department) 
    • Keeping up to date with fashion, marketing and social media trends always keeping the Pep customer in mind 
    • Assisting in all over print and placement print development 
    • Tracking Sales to ensure customer understanding and sales knowledge 
    • Pre-season product development and designing of volume item move on’s and newness / missed opportunities 
    • Volume item colour and print selection according to season 
    • Present testing opportunities throughout the season to the buying team 
    • Assisting buyers with colour selection, colour workshops, range build and Cading up of new silhouettes. 

    Requirements
    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS 

    • Fashion Design Diploma or relevant diploma / degree (essential) 
    • 5 years design work within a large retail space (essential) 
    • Working within a manufacturing space would be advantageous (desirable) 
    • Adobe Creative Suite (illustrator/ photoshop/ indesign) 
    • Extensive knowledge and understanding of Fabrics 
    • Garment construction and designing into the PEP price points 
    • Creative flair, passion, distinctive handwriting and able to sell ideas and concepts 
    • Have insights and working experience of discount retail ( advantageous)

    Relief Buyer (Western Cape)

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

    We are looking for a resilient, efficient, agile and vibrant go-getter to successfully select &/or develop and procure appropriate merchandise in accordance with Company strategies.     Brand Manager: Financial Services & Paxi (Western Cape)

    Purpose of the role

    • To proactively develop campaigns, drive processes and craft plans that consistently satisfy the needs of both internal and external customers.

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Implement marketing strategy and brand guidelines in PEP’s financial services and courier delivery divisions 
    • Compile and manage the promotional campaign calendar 
    • Brief creative and media agencies
    • Ensure the development and accurate delivery of TTL campaigns 
    • Liaise with internal and external partners on marketing related activities 
    • Manage projects and resources 
    • Develop Post campaign reviews to assess the impact and success of monthly marketing campaigns
    • Manage budget and costs across multiple cost centers and accounts

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies 

    • Bachelor/honours degree, preferably in marketing or related field 
    • Computer Literacy (MS Office and Google Suite) 
    • 3 - 5 years’ experience in a brand or campaign manager role (Retail environment advantageous) 
    • Experience in developing integrated marketing campaigns to drive business objectives and deliver on exceptional customer experience  
    • Comfortable in operating in a faced-paced, high performance team
    • Clear understanding of the South African retail, financial services and/or courier landscape 
    • Data-driven marketing experience to continuously measure, refine and improve marketing initiatives
    • Relationship/networking skills 
    • Experience in managing line reports and team members advantageous
