    Merchandise Specialist Trading and Allocation DTC - EM South

    Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

    This role is responsible for maximizing the profitability of the Market Retail by implementing all day-to-day trading of the department by reviewing sales and stock and ensuring all in- season activity is focused upon delivering planned sales, margin, and terminal stock objectives. timely assist and ensure the execution of the initial allocations and in-season replenishments. Implements all immediate training needs of direct reports

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the implementation of key strategic priorities in line with the company direction and the market merchandising framework.
    • Responsible for the weekly monitoring of KPIs and assist in the implementation of the in-season replenishment of stocks and consolidations according to store performance
    • Seasonal size analysis and segmentation review.
    • Utilize pre-season and in-season planning and projections throughout the year to ensure sufficient stock levels.
    • Proactively provide relevant in-depth analysis to support planning trade decisions.
    • Responsible for the preparation of mark-downs for DTC channels as required within given framework and in line with market and global strategy
    • Provide fact-based product input and feedback for internal/external stakeholders.
    • Assist seniors with building range plans in collaboration with DTC team. Provide the historical analysis to effectively support and build the range/assortment plan.
    • Analyze every aspect of best sellers and worst sellers, in season stock cover management and in season reactivity and provide recommendations based on analysis.
    • Action the optimal flow of merchandise incl. fulfilment of product/marketing introduction deadlines/capacity planning.
    • Specialize in merchandising systems and tools and eager to learn new systems to ensure smooth business operations.
    • Store visits as needed and advised by the business.

    • Local: Stores, Retail Ops, Order Book Fulfillment, CTC, SCM, VM, Brand

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
    • Structured, organized, and process oriented
    • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
    • Ability to think strategically, synthesize complex data and develop innovative solutions
    • Excellent command of English.
    • Strong work ethic
    • Intermediate to advanced MS office skills (Excel is a must)
    • Understanding of relevant Retail management and back office systems

    Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

    • University degree Marketing / Business/ Sales focus/ Economics
    • 3-4 years merchandising experience – similar capacity
