Job Description

• Our Client, a well know manufacturer and distributor of adhesive products, has a new opportunity available for a Merchandiser in Montague Gardens, Western Cape  
• The Successful candidate will be reporting to the WC Consumer Sales Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor opposition activity.
• Develop relationships with store management and personnel (Store Manager/HOD/Floor Staff)
• Ensure optimal use of POS.
• Display company products creatively and attractively
• Submit the required reports (daily/weekly/monthly)
• Update call reports and territory feedback
• Conduct surveys as required.
• Assist with delivering stock to customers, when required.
• Ensure the vehicle is regularly serviced, maintained, kept clean and neat at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• Matric
• 3 – 5 Years experience in merchandising in a retail environment
• Experience in Sales to Hardware would be advantageous.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Computer literate MS Office
• Must understand Commercial awareness.
• Must have good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to negotiate at all levels.
• Ability to do presentations for training customers.
• Possession of an unendorsed valid driver’s license
• Must be prepared to work after hours and at weekends for trade shows and promotions.
