Mid-level to Senior Full Stack Developer at Vista Group

We are the world’s leading Cinema software supplier and we are looking for a full stack developer to join our growing team. You will work with a team of back-end, front-end and full stack developers in an Agile environment building best-in-class cinema websites worldwide. Our projects range in size and design, providing a plethora of challenging work to your portfolio. Projects involve understanding deep knowledge of the cinema industry, so you’ll be provided with excellent training and onboarding to get you up to speed and ready to contribute to our technically advanced cloud ready enterprise suite as soon as possible.

As a Full Stack developer, you’ll be working with Umbraco using ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and ReactJs. You’ll be collaborating with senior and junior developers to produce a code base that is high quality, maintainable, and always maturing. You’ll have experience with modern software development practices and be able to bring your own skills and perspectives to the table via whiteboarding sessions, peer programming, code reviews, and of course your own development time.

Key Skills

• Strong Experience (Minimum 3 years) with Umbraco v7 (v8.x is a bonus)

• 2-4 year’s web front end development experience ideally in a commercial and/or ecommerce organisation.

• Strong intermediate level C# / ASP.Net / ReactJs

• Fundamental understanding of SOLID, design principles, Web Development

• Good understanding of web markup, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

• Good understanding of ReactJs, exposure to Angular a plus

• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.

• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks

• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

• Proficient understanding of Git

• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS

• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
