    Mid Motion Designer - Cape Town

    About you

    You're not just a Motion Designer - you're a creative dynamo! Your role is to craft captivating video content that grabs attention and tells a story. You'll be an integral part of our team, bringing your skills and energy to every project.

    Your mission? Editing and curating video content for epic paid media campaigns across digital platforms.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate closely with the team to edit captivating video content
    • Use industry-standard software (Adobe After Effects and Premier) to create high-quality video content.
    • Edit footage for seamless transitions and brand consistency.
    • Create video content for paid media campaigns, adapting to digital formats.
    • Integrate diverse content sources to ensure a cohesive end product.
    • Learn and utilize editing software for content development if needed.
    • Bring energy and creativity to projects, pushing boundaries for exceptional work.
    • Collaborate with creative leads to bring their ideas to life.
    • Meet deadlines with meticulous attention to detail, adhering to brand guidelines.
    • Stay updated on video editing trends to deliver cutting-edge work.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project clarity.
    • Contribute to the agency's success, exceeding client expectations.

     

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Demonstrated experience in video editing, ideally at creative agencies.
    • Proficiency in industry-standard software like Adobe After Effects and Premier, with an understanding of video editing principles, pacing, and storytelling.
    • Strong knowledge of video editing software, ensuring smooth transitions and cohesive content.
    • Experience with creating content for prominent brands.
    • Proficiency in crafting content optimized for digital and social media platforms, with knowledge of platform-specific requirements and best practices.
    • Keen eye for detail, artistic sensibility, and a creative edge.
    • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
    • Exceptional organizational skills, managing tasks and meeting project timelines with attention to detail.
    • Willingness to adapt to changing project needs and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in additional relevant software like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, enhancing workflow and delivering high-quality results.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Problem-solving approach, finding innovative solutions and overcoming challenges during the creative process.
    • Understanding of brand guidelines for consistent content creation.
    • Understanding of bitrate, aspect ratio and resolution in exporting videos from Premiere Pro CC and Media Encoder.
    • A commitment to staying updated with the latest trends, techniques, and emerging technologies in video editing.
    • A proactive and eager attitude to learn new tools, techniques, and software.
