    Mid-weight Copywriter

    Copywriting

    • Produce campaigns that have an instant and positive impact on the consumer in order to promote the product or brand being advertised.
    • Produce words and verbal content that accompanies the visual element of an advertising campaign in all kinds of media.
    • Write clear, concise and grammatically correct copy while paying very close attention to detail.
    • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of technical knowledge such as photography, typography, print, Mac skills Indesign & Illustrator etc to support their work.
    • Generate original copy ideas that meet the client's expectations.
    • Oversee campaigns through production stage to completion.
    • Work under pressure but always strive to meet tight deadline.
    • Go over and above and assist where required.

    Receive and Interpret briefs

    • Work closely with the art director to generate creative ideas and concepts to fulfil the client brief.
    • Demonstrate a willingness to amend, revise, redevelop adverts or campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director, client service team or the client.

    Presentation of work

    • Demonstrate an ability to explain your thought process of your work.
    • Present work internally and externally in a clear and professional manner.
    • Assist in developing a presentation which includes rationale, reference and any supporting argument to sell the work.
    • Produce sketches/storyboards, roughs/scamps to effectively communicate the idea to the client.
    • Assist the Creative Director/teams with client presentations.
    • Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills.

    Client Relationship

    • Familiarise yourselves with the clients products and services, the target audience and competitors' activities.

      Business Knowledge

    • Demonstrate an interest in social and cultural trends as well as keep abreast with the developments in the industry.
    • Demonstrate an understanding of target audience and business that the advert is aimed at.
    • Manage projects/campaign effectively and work within allocated hours.

    Team Leadership

    • Work closely with relevant teams, ensuring effective communication and management of teams’ expectations.
    • Work with client service teams to understand the clients’ brand and manage projects in a way that will support the delivery of the brand.
    • Actively encourage and facilitate collaboration within the team and other departments within the agency.
    • Actively support and involve team members at the appropriate time to resolve issues.
    • Demonstrate a willingness to work extra hours with the team to produce award-winning work.

    Qualification & Experience

    • Copywriting tertiary qualification
    • 3 years advertising experience
