Job Description
- A Mining house based in the Gauteng region is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager
Duties:
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans. Lead and manage resources to deliver production targets and projects as required.
- Maintenance Strategy . Develop, implement and monitor engineering maintenance, risk and operational strategies and plans.
- Provide and oversee engineering services, infrastructure (roads, power, water) and equipment availability are adequate and maintained to meet operational goals.
- Continuous Improvement. Manage, implement and contribute to continuous improvement and asset optimisation initiatives and projects for engineering processes
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical
- Government Certificate of Competency - Mine & Works
- At least 8yrs experience as a appointed 2.13.1 / 2.13.3.1 appointee
- Must have deep level Mining experience
