Monitoring And Evaluation Officer at Anova Health Institute

We are looking for a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to support the implementation of the programme’s data and health information quality management plan, working with our program targeting men who have sex with men (MSM) to optimize use of data to improve the effectiveness of the local data information.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Collate & analyse the M&E information from the Global Fund MSM programme funded through Beyond Zero.
• Provide capacity building to the M & E Team & other stakeholders.
• Provide supervision to Data Capturers and ensure that all data captured is accurate.
• Ensure that all M&E documents, data flows and plans are completed.
• Provide oversight to data management systems.
• Conduct data quality assurance.
• Facilitate timely reporting of data.
• Participate and represent programme in stakeholder engagement meetings.

 Any other tasks as agreed with line manager.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required

• Degree in Social Sciences/ Health Information Sciences or any equivalent degree.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a data management environment.
• 2 years’ experience working with DHIS, TIER.Net, ETR and DoH M&E systems for HIV/TB Programmes.
• Strong personality and work ethic, with an ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills, especially MS Excel.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing to travel as and when required.
